Fortnite V-Bucks will cost less in quantity for the same price starting March 19, 2026. Epic Games says rising operating costs force adjustments to V-Bucks packs and related items.
Epic will reduce the amount of V-Bucks included in paid packs while keeping pack prices. Example pack changes (EUR retail tiers reported):
These adjustments mean players buying the same-priced pack receive fewer V-Bucks starting March 19. The company attributes the move to increased costs of running Fortnite.

The Battle Pass price and rewards also change: the pass will cost 800 V-Bucks and now grants 800 V-Bucks on completion (previously cost 1,000 and rewarded 1,000 + 500 bonus). The Battle Bundle is adjusted (example: goes from 2,800 to 2,600 V-Bucks). Fortnite Crew subscribers will see monthly V-Bucks drop from 1,000 to 800.
